Tour Plan
Depart the United States on an overnight flight bound for Athens, Greece.
Welcome to Greece! Once you land in Athens, you will catch the next leg of your flight bound for Mykonos. Upon arrival in Mykonos, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Unwind from your long flight by plunging into your private pool and watching the sun set over the Aegean Sea.
You may choose to spend this day exploring Mykonos, whether that means sightseeing at the emblematic windmills and Little Venice or parking yourself on one of many golden sand beaches the island has to offer.
Day 4: Private Catamaran Cruise
Experience the Aegean Sea to its fullest by boarding a catamaran for a private sailing cruise off the coast of Mykonos. Enjoy lunch and drinks as you journey along the water, and take advantage of the stops for swimming and snorkeling.
Skip across the water on your ferry from Santorini to Naxos, the largest island in the Cyclades. Spend the afternoon sprawled across a lounge chair on your hotel’s private beach.
Ascend into the mountains to the private home of a Greek family, where you will be taught how to prepare an authentic meal. Afterwards, you will enjoy the lunch you just prepared alongside bread, wine, dessert, and a variety of Naxian cheeses.
Day 7: Travel to Santorini
Board your high speed catamaran bound for Santorini, the iconic island of Greece easily recognized by its bright white buildings and blue dome roofs. By the afternoon you will be lounging by your hotel’s pool with a cocktail bar mere steps away.
Take to the seas on a catamaran to experience some of the best Santorini has to offer, passing everything from the Red and White Beaches to the ancient city of Akrotiri to volcanic island of Aspronisi. Stops will be made at hot springs and secluded bays where you can wade your way into the alluring waters.
After spending a day at sea, you may wish to spend today traversing the island by foot. Make your way from Imerovigli to Oia with stunning views of the sea and caldera guiding you along. Reward yourself with a sunset dinner at one of the fish tavernas in the tiny hardor town of Ammoudi, located below the cliffs where Oia is perched.
Day 10: Travel to Elounda
Board your high speed catamaran bound for Elounda, the sophisticated resort haven of Crete. Spend the afternoon being pampered at the spa before sitting down to dinner at one of your hotel’s many restaurants and witnessing the sun sinking behind the island of Spinalonga.
This morning, you could choose to take the ferry from Elounda to the intriguing island of Spinalonga. Now deserted, it was once Europe’s last leper colony. After roaming through the fascinating fortress, you can make your way back to your hotel and enjoy your afternoon relaxing in your room’s private heated pool with a glass of wine in hand.
Day 12: Travel to Chania via Palace of Knossos
Begin your day with a private tour of the Palace of Knossos, once the stronghold of King Minos. From there, continue your journey across Crete to Chania. With the afternoon to yourself, indulge in sushi and cocktails with your hotel’s luxurious pool to one side of you and the sea to the other.
Day 13: Private Sailing Trip
Set sail on the Aegean once more on a private tour around the Gulf of Chania. With plenty of time to swim and lounge, you will also have the opportunity to explore the shores and caves.
Learn about Chania through one of its most delightful vessels: food. As you make your way through Chania’s historical district on your private food tour, you will have the chance to savor everything from olives to donut-like loukoumades to flaky bougatsa custard pie.
Say farewell to Greece as you make your way to the airport for your flight to connect back to the United States.
