Day 1: Departure
Depart the United States on an overnight flight bound for Olbia, Italy.

Day 2: Arrival
Benvenuto in Italia! Upon arrival in Olbia, a city often considered to be the gateway of the glitzy Costa Smeralda, you will be met and transferred north to your hotel near Baja Sardinia. Unwind from your long flight on your private balcony overlooking the sea.

Day 3: La Maddalena Archipelago Sailing Trip
Board your vintage wooden ship and sail across the shimmering water to visit the La Maddalena archipelago. While the main island has a substantial town, many of the other islands are uninhabited and their natural scenery is phenomenally preserved.

Day 4: Leisure Day
Today, you may choose to rent a car and visit some of Sardinia’s most famous beaches. Snorkel just off of the fine white sands of Rena Bianca or lounge amid the tranquility of Capo Spinosa.

Day 5: Travel to Bonifacio via Porto Vecchio
Cross the border into France on a picturesque ferry ride to Bonifacio, a clifftop town on the southern tip of glamorous Corsica. En route to your hotel, you will stop for private tours of downtown Bonifacio and lively Porto Vecchio. Upon arrival at your hotel, settle in and soak up the sun from the private beach.

Day 6: Travel to Ajaccio via Sartene, Filitosa & Propriano
Begin your day expanding your knowledge of Corsica with tours through the charming towns of Sartene, Filitosa, and Propriano. End your day at your hotel in Ajaccio watching the sun set from your own hot tub out on your room’s terrace.

Day 7: Ajaccio, Piana, & Porto Highlights
Head into Ajaccio’s old town for a tour of Corsica’s intriguing capital and former home of Napoléon Bonaparte. From there, you will continue on a scenic drive to the beautiful small villages of Piana and Porto. After some time in each place, you will return to Ajaccio.

Day 8: Travel to Calvi
Make your way north to Calvi and take the afternoon to explore the downtown area. Peruse the beachside shops and cafés along the Quai Landry before delving into Calvi’s history at the towering citadel. Spend the evening sipping cocktails at the pool bar of your hotel overlooking the sea and the city.

Day 9: Leisure Day
You may choose to use this day to enjoy more time in Calvi, or you may wish to venture out places like Monticello of Parc de Saleccia, botanical garden ideal for those who love the flora of the region.

Day 10: Departure
Say farewell to France as you head to the airport for your flight back to the United States.
