What We’re Grateful For This Thanksgiving
As Thanksgiving rolls around, we all take a moment to slow down and think about the things we’re grateful for — the people who anchor us, the relationships we’ve built, and the experiences that made the year a little brighter. And while our team at WAC Travel is endlessly thankful for our loved ones, we also found ourselves reflecting on the small joys, the unexpected comforts, and the moments on the road that made us smile this year.
Because if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that gratitude often shows up in places we don’t always expect.
So, in the spirit of gratitude, here’s what made each of us a little extra thankful lately:
“There’s nothing better than having a holiday on the calendar. Even on the busiest days, knowing there’s a trip coming up just makes everything feel a bit brighter.” – Hilary
“TSA PreCheck has saved me more times than I’d like to admit — I’ve definitely cut it way too close to a few flights. I’m also really thankful for the chance to travel with my family this year and experience new places together. Skip-the-line passes have been clutch too — the Eiffel Tower line was three hours long and we just walked right in. Or having leisure time on a trip, just one day to just see where the day takes us.” – Emma
“I’m usually dealing with connections — and having airport lounge access has been a total game changer. It’s a quiet place to decompress, recharge, or even squeeze in a little work between flights. I can’t imagine flying without it now”. – Gaby
“I’ll always be thankful for Global Entry. After a long flight, skipping that giant immigration line feels like a victory every single time.” – Sarah
“Whenever I’m helping plan a trip for someone who doesn’t have nonstop options, I’m reminded how lucky I am to live near so many New York airports. We’re honestly so spoiled.” – Christine
“I live so far from home, so FaceTime is how I stay connected with friends and family — it makes the distance feel so much smaller.” – Katie
“I’ll never stop loving travel points and perks. Turning everyday spending into upgrades or free nights feels like a tiny bit of magic.” – Sera
“Airline miles have been such a lifesaver this year. It’s amazing how they can turn everyday travel into the next unforgettable experience.” – Chrissy
As we head into the holiday season, we’re reminded that gratitude shows up in big moments — like exploring a new country with family — and in small ones, like breezing through security or relaxing in an airport lounge between flights. Travel gives us countless reasons to be thankful, and we’re lucky to help others create those moments, too.

Wherever you’re celebrating this year, we hope your table is full, your heart is warm, and your next adventure is already taking shape on the horizon. And when you’re ready for it, our team is here to help you plan the trip you’ll be grateful for next Thanksgiving.
